A large geocoin dedicated to the 25th anniversary of geocaching in the Czech Republic and the mega-event 25 YEARS OF CZECH GEOCACHING – FIVE ELEMENTS – https://coord.info/GCAGCZE
The first geocache in the Czech Republic was placed in 2001.
The front side of the geocoin features icons of all 17 types of geocaches that have been available to find in the Czech Republic over the past 25 years.
It follows the geocoins dedicated to the 15th and 20th anniversaries of geocaching and captures the next five years of development – with each anniversary, several new icons were added, and over time the design of the individual icons has also changed.
Gecko is a traditional symbol of the Czech geocaching.
The reverse side of the geocoin shows a map of the Czech Republic with the locations of the first geocache and the anniversary mega-event marked, and below it the symbols of the individual historical lands within the Czech Republic.
